Community guidelines
Every member agrees to these at registration. They are short on purpose — a network only works when the standard is clear enough to remember.

Why these exist
LoveWorld CCAN puts beginners and established creators in the same rooms, across more than fifty countries and a dozen languages. That only works if people can share unfinished work without being mocked, ask basic questions without being talked down to, and collaborate without worrying about being taken advantage of.
How we treat each other
- Critique the work, never the person. Say what isn't working and why. “The first thirty seconds lost me” is useful. “This is amateur” is not.
- Assume the beginner is serious. Everyone here was new once, and a badly-lit first video is not a character flaw.
- Share what worked. The preset, the contact, the setting that fixed it. Hoarding stalls the whole scene.
- Keep private things private. What is said in a critique room or a chapter group stays there unless the person says otherwise.
- Turn up to what you commit to. If you take a slot, a brief or a collaboration, see it through or tell people early.
How we treat the work
- Credit everyone. Editors, shooters, writers, musicians. If they touched it, name them.
- Licence what you use. Music, footage, fonts, images. “It was on the internet” is not a licence.
- Don't claim other people's work. Not in a portfolio, not in a pitch, not as a reference.
- Be honest about your numbers. Bought followers, inflated reach and invented results damage every member who pitches after you.
- Disclose partnerships. Paid, gifted or affiliate — say so clearly, every time.
Representing the network
When you use the LoveWorld CCAN name or brand assets, you are speaking near the network's reputation and near LoveWorld's. Be accurate about your role: “LoveWorld CCAN member” is right, “LoveWorld CCAN representative” only if you hold an ambassador role. Don't speak on the network's behalf without being asked to.
What isn't allowed
- Harassment, bullying, or targeting anyone for who they are
- Sexual, violent, hateful or exploitative content
- Plagiarism, and passing off others' work as your own
- Bought engagement, bot traffic, or faked metrics
- Recruiting members into unrelated schemes, chain referrals or pyramid-style offers
- Sharing members' contact details or private messages
- Deliberate misinformation, including about health or money
- Anything unlawful where you or the other members live
Reporting something
Email conduct@lccan.org or use the contact page and pick “report something”. Include what happened, where, and any links or screenshots. Reports are handled confidentially, and we do not tell the person who reported them.
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are not equipped to help with that, and we would rather you got real help fast.
What happens next
Most issues are a misunderstanding and end with a conversation. Where something more is needed, we work through: a private word, a formal warning, removal from specific circles or opportunities, and finally removal from the network. Serious breaches — harassment, exploitation, anything endangering a member — skip straight to the end.
Where it is reasonable to do so, we tell you what was decided and why, and you can respond before a permanent decision is made.
