Terms of use
What you agree to when you register with LoveWorld CCAN, and what we commit to in return. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
Last updated August 2026
For the LoveWorld CCAN team: this text is a working draft written to be readable. Have it reviewed against the jurisdictions you operate in before launch.
Who we are
The LoveWorld Content Creator & Affiliate Network (“LoveWorld CCAN”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and the member network behind it. Registering, browsing or taking part means you accept these terms.
Membership
Membership is free and open to creators aged 16 and over. There is no paid tier, and we do not charge for access to the resource library, events held online, or opportunity listings.
- Members aged 16 or 17 need consent from a parent or guardian before taking part in anything involving travel, payment or a contract.
- Some in-person events carry a ticket price to cover the venue. This is always stated on the listing.
- We may decline or end a membership where the guidelines are breached.
Your account
Keep your details accurate and your login private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
Your content and rights
You own what you make. Work you create independently remains yours. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of it to us.
By adding links, samples or a profile to the network, you grant us a non-exclusive, revocable licence to display them within the member directory and to feature them in network channels — creator spotlights, newsletters and social posts. You can withdraw that licence at any time by removing the material or asking us to.
Commissioned work is different. Each commission has its own written agreement setting out scope, fee, deliverables, usage and ownership. That agreement is presented before you start, and it takes precedence over this section.
Opportunities and affiliate programmes
- Listings state whether the work is paid, what is expected and by when. Taking part is always optional.
- Affiliate programmes have their own terms covering tracking, attribution and payment. Read them before you enrol.
- Where you promote something as an affiliate, you must disclose it clearly, as the law and the platform require.
- We do not guarantee any particular volume of opportunities, earnings or audience growth from membership.
Acceptable use
The community guidelines set the standard, and they form part of these terms. In short: no harassment, no passing off other people's work as your own, no bought engagement, no misleading claims, and nothing unlawful.
Our content
Training material, templates, brand assets and written guides are provided for your own creative work. You may use and adapt them for that. You may not resell them, publish them as your own, or pass them outside the network.
Suspension and ending membership
You can close your account at any time from your settings, and request deletion of your data — see the privacy policy. We may suspend or end a membership where the guidelines are seriously or repeatedly breached, or where continuing would put other members at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we tell you why and give you a route to respond.
Liability
We work to keep the site and its content accurate and available, but we provide them as they are. We are not liable for loss arising from decisions you make on the basis of network material, from collaborations between members, or from dealings with third parties introduced through the network. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms as the network changes. Material changes are notified to members by email at least fourteen days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
Contact
Questions about these terms go to hello@lccan.org, or through the contact page.
